Conduct cold calls to potential clients to introduce company logistics services (import/export, freight forwarding, customs clearance, etc.)
Identify customer needs and qualify prospects over the phone
Arrange and schedule appointments for the sales team or yourself (if handling both sales and follow-up)
Maintain call logs, update report with call outcomes and client information
Follow up with leads via email, phone, or WhatsApp to nurture interest
Handle objections professionally and build rapport with prospects
Collaborate with sales and operations team to ensure smooth handover after lead conversion
Work towards daily/weekly call and appointment targets
Prepare quotations and sales proposals based on shipping needs (sea/air/land freight, forwarding, customs clearance)Continuously research and generate new lead databases (via online sources or referrals)
Requirements
Minimum SPM; Diploma or Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field is an advantage
1–2 years of sales experience in freight forwarding, shipping, or logistics
Fresh graduates with a strong interest in logistics sales are encouraged to apply
Good command of English, Malay; Mandarin is a plus (to liaise with China-based customers/suppliers)
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Target-driven, proactive, and able to work independently
